General Description
The Netsys Extended Distance HPNA Ethernet Modem (NH-300EP) works with the NH-800EP 8-Port Managed
Extended Distance HPNA IP DSLAM and provides a cost effective CPE solution for network connections up to
5,000 feet (1500m) over existing phone lines. The NH-300EP also features dual Ethernet ports and a built-in
POTS/ISDN splitter.
The NH-300EP comes ready to plug and play out of the box for extended distances up to 5,000 feet (1500m) at
the default line rate of 1Mbps. The NH-800EP Extended Distance HPNA IP DSLAM can also configure the
NH-300EP the low power setting to provide one additional line rate of 700Kbps. The Extended Distance HPNA
Ethernet Modem operates over existing phone lines or network grade cable (1 twisted pair) and features a
built-in POTS/ISDN splitter to extend telephone (POTS/ISDN/PBX) service over the same phone line or cable.
