NHS-3000 Wireless Hotspot Gateway General Description The NHS-3000 is based on the IEEE 802.11g standard to provide both Access point and Bridge features at a cost effective way for mobile users to connect to their corporate Ethernet-based LANs. The NHS-3000 provides standard WDS (Wireless Distribution System) bridge functionality joining LAN segments that are physcially separated (e.g., in two buildings, or in campus) to a complete network. Up to 6 WDS bridge links work with AP function simultaneously, allowing LAN segments to be flexibly connected to mirror any network topology which a traditional wired network can achieve. The flexible R-SMA detachable antennas can be replaced with high-gain directional/omni-directional antennas for different purposes. All in all, the NHS-3000 Hotspot AP Bridge Series is the best solution for robust and secure wireless applications of SOHO, SME, Enterprise, HotSpot, ISP and Telco operators.
