Making A Purchase Making a purchase is secure as we use a certified secure hosted site, so we never store or hold your credit card detail. Ordering could not be easier, just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept most major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. We can set up an trade account if your looking at purchasing on a regular basis.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. All credit card purchase must go through these certified secure hosted service.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling Stock permitting we try to despatch your order the same day (Monday - Friday), subject to receiving web orders by 3:00pm (telephone, email & fax orders by 2:30pm). However we may be able to service that important requirement so call us even if it's late.
Special Cable making orders are processed in our system as a two day service.
Our standard shipping service is TNT next day before 16:00, no guarantees are given for next day delivery. However, our experince of using TNT has been exelent and it is only in exceptional circumstances that late delivery has occured.
UK Next Working Day Carrier service are nornally arranged through TNT Standard next day 16:00 and we can offer Pre 12:00, Pre 10:00am Pre 09:00, same day delivery and European delivery which can be arrange at additional costs. In some circumstances items are sent Royal Mail Special Delivery due to location i.e. I.O.M, Scottish Islands & Northern Ireland. We select the most appropriate carrier depending on size, weight, destination and value. some small items will go by first class post. Most items require a signature on delivery.
TNT Deliveries - If the addressee is not available on the first day of attempted delivery then APC will leave a card. They will then try again the next day. If there is no response on the second day they will hold the item at their depot for 7 days. If you get in touch with us we can provide shipping, signature and tracking information.
Royal Mail deliveries - if a non track able service is required we cannot accept liability for delays.
Transit Damage -If you specify a carriage type with insurance which varies from our usual choice then our liability will be limited to the carriers compensation policy, for example First Class post insurance value is approximately £19.00.
Overseas orders - we can arrange a carrier for you. Our standard carrier is TNT . We can also ship using other shipping agents if required. If you have an account with a Carrier we are happy to get orders ready for your carrier, though you must instruct them to collect and provide us with sufficient notice so goods are ready for collection from one of our offices.
Ideally we would like a telephone number for the delivery address in order that carriers can contact direct if directions are required. If a telephone number is not provided we will provide your main landline number to our carrier.

Returns Policy Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable as new condition with original packaging with all associated material supplied any damage to goods packaging ar associated material will be chargeable at our decression.
